The following terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of the Website and any product or service we provide. By accessing or using the Website or any product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please cease using the Website and our products immediately.
This document is one set of Terms covering several products. Where a clause applies only to a specific product, it is labelled accordingly (e.g. "VELORYN only"). All other clauses apply across the AegisVectro family of products.
1.1. By accessing, browsing, or otherwise using the Website or any of our products, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all users.
1.2. Website & AI Threat Analyzer: You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Website or its interactive AI tools. By using the Website, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
1.3. VELORYN mobile application: VELORYN is rated "Everyone" / PEGI 3 on Google Play and may be installed and used by users of any age in compliance with Google Play's policies, subject to parental or guardian supervision where required by local law for users under 18. Certain features (such as Premium in-app purchases) may require an adult Google account.
2.1. Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information. It forms an integral part of these Terms.
2.2. By using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read the Privacy Policy and understand how your personal information is collected and processed.
3.1. We may update or modify these Terms at any time by posting the revised Terms on the Website. Changes will become effective immediately upon publication.
3.2. It is your responsibility to regularly review these Terms. Your continued use of the Website after any such modifications indicates your acceptance of the revised Terms.

5.2. Limited Licence: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view the Website and its Content for your personal, non-commercial use only.
5.3. User-Generated Content: Where you submit any content (such as telemetry, comments, or other material) to the Website, you warrant that you have all necessary rights to do so. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, sub-licensable licence to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, and perform that content in connection with the operation and promotion of the Website and internal AI model training.
6.1. The Website may contain links to websites or resources operated by third parties. These links are provided for convenience only, and we are not responsible for the content, products, services, or data collection practices of third-party websites.
6.2. Your dealings with any third parties found on or through this Website are solely between you and those third parties, and we will not be liable for any damages arising out of such dealings.

We make no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the Website or its Content, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.

Exclusion of Certain Damages: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we (and our officers, directors, employees, affiliates, agents, licensors, and service providers) will not be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or related to your use of the Website or inability to use it.
8.2. Aggregate Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, our maximum aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Website or these Terms shall be limited to the amount (if any) you have paid to us in connection with your use of the Website in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
8.3. Your Statutory Rights: Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AegisVectro, AegisVectro, its officers, directors, employees, affiliates, agents, and suppliers from and against any and all claims, actions, demands, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

10.2. Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the Website will immediately cease. All disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnities set forth in these Terms will survive such termination.
11.1. These Terms and any non-contractual obligations or disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Website are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which AegisVectro primarily operates.
11.2. The competent courts of that jurisdiction shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or the Website.
12.1. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by any court or competent authority, that provision will be deemed severed from these Terms, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
13.1. These Terms (together with any documents expressly referred to in them, including the Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and us in relation to your use of the Website and our products, and supersede any prior agreements or arrangements (whether oral or written).
14.1. Licence to use VELORYN: Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the VELORYN mobile application on a compatible Android device for your personal, non-commercial use. The licence is bound to the Google account that installs the app from Google Play.
14.2. Offline-first operation: VELORYN is designed to operate without a continuous network connection. After initial install and asset delivery via Google Play Asset Delivery, no further server-side communication is required for core functionality. We make no warranty regarding the availability of Google Play services that deliver the application or its assets.
14.3. Bundled assets: VELORYN ships with bundled AI model weights, a vector knowledge base, a knowledge graph, voice recognition models, and survival reference content. You may not extract, redistribute, sublicence, repackage, or commercially exploit these bundled assets except as permitted by the licences of the underlying open-source components, where applicable. The AegisVectro-authored prompts, system messages, on-device tool implementations, UI assets, and proprietary curation of the survival reference corpus remain our intellectual property.
14.4. Updates: We may make updates available via Google Play. Some updates may require download of additional asset packs. You are responsible for any data charges incurred by downloading updates over a metered connection; VELORYN provides an in-app preference to restrict downloads to Wi-Fi where supported by the operating system.
14.5. Discontinuation: We may discontinue VELORYN, individual features, or specific product variants at any time. Where reasonably possible we will provide advance notice. Discontinuation does not entitle you to a refund of any in-app purchase except as required by applicable law or by Google Play's refund policy.
15.1. Premium upgrade: VELORYN is free to download and use. An optional one-time in-app purchase, branded VELORYN Full Intelligence (product identifier veloryn_full_intelligence), unlocks the Smart-mode large model and on-device Vision feature.
15.2. Payment processing: All payments are processed by Google Play Billing under Google's terms. We do not see, receive, store, or have access to your payment card number, billing address, or other payment instrument data. We receive only the entitlement signal that confirms your Google account is authorised to use the Premium features.
15.3. Pricing and currency: The price displayed at checkout is set by us in USD and is automatically localised by Google Play into your local currency and tax inclusive/exclusive of applicable taxes per Google Play's rules in your country. The price may change for future purchasers; existing purchasers are not affected.
15.4. Lifetime / non-consumable: The Premium upgrade is a non-consumable, one-time purchase. It is bound to your Google account and is restorable on any Android device where you sign in with the same Google account, subject to Google Play's policies. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no automatic renewal.
15.5. Refunds: Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policy. Within the standard Google Play self-service refund window (typically 48 hours of purchase), you may request a refund directly via the Google Play Store interface. Beyond that window, refund requests are decided at Google's discretion or per the consumer-protection laws of your jurisdiction. We will, in good faith, support any refund request you raise through Google Play.
15.6. Revocation: If a refund, chargeback, or other reversal of the purchase is processed, your Premium entitlement may be revoked. The application will gracefully revert to the free feature set on its next online entitlement check, and may remove downloaded Premium-only assets to reclaim device storage.
15.7. Offline entitlement cache: To preserve offline-first operation, VELORYN caches your Premium entitlement locally so that loss of network connectivity does not lock you out of Premium features. The cache is refreshed whenever the device next reaches Google Play; we treat Google Play's response as authoritative.
16.1. Any output produced by an artificial-intelligence component of our products — including the Aegis Threat Analyzer on the Website, VELORYN's on-device language model and vision model, and any future AI-powered AegisVectro Labs product — is generated by automated processes that may produce inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, fabricated, or otherwise misleading content.
16.2. AI-generated output is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is not, and must not be relied upon as, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, professional engineering advice, professional cybersecurity advice, or formal emergency-response instructions.
16.3. In any life-threatening situation, you must contact your local emergency services as soon as you are able. VELORYN's offline survival, first-aid, and emergency-mode features are designed to assist in scenarios where qualified help is unavailable; they are not a replacement for qualified help when it is available.
16.4. You are solely responsible for evaluating, verifying, and acting upon AI-generated output. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all liability for any outcome arising from your reliance on AI-generated output, including but not limited to bodily injury, property damage, financial loss, or loss of life.
